The Twitter/X Problem
Sometimes you want to skim fast, sometimes read deeply
Fixed auto-scroll speeds are either too fast or too slow
No way to adjust scroll speed without stopping
Reversing to catch up requires stopping and scrolling manually
Different content density requires different speeds
Your attention level changes throughout the day

Vibe Scroll offers 5 speed levels in each direction (-5 to +5). Press ⏭ to speed up or shift toward downward. Press ⏮ to slow down or shift toward upward. Zero = paused.
5 Speed Levels
Level 1 = 66 px/sec (gentle browse). Level 5 = 330 px/sec (speed scan). Find your perfect pace.
Bidirectional
Positive levels scroll down (new content). Negative levels scroll up (review). Cross through zero to flip.
State Memory
Pause with ⏯ and your speed/direction is saved. Resume picks up exactly where you were.
How It Works
Start at Zero
Initially, scroll level is 0 (stopped). Press ⏯ to start at level 1 (66 px/sec downward).
Accelerate with ⏭
Each ⏭ press increases level by 1. Going from -2 to -1 to 0 (pause) to +1 to +2, etc.
Decelerate with ⏮
Each ⏮ press decreases level by 1. Cross through zero to start scrolling upward.
Pause Saves State
Press ⏯ to pause. Your current level is saved. Press ⏯ again to resume at saved level.
